These pictures are basically featured as Tryptic and Sixtic, in groups of three and six. The dimension has been set on the basis of 1.20 x 1.80, and the installation to give an illusion of levitating the image itself by bringing movement to it, as if it is a Mirage.The name, Mirages has been chosen, because of its paradox regarding the concept. Committing ourselves to making this project successful will show that dreams can become reality and that a Mirage could turn into an oasis, instead of a subliminal image floating in the air.Mirages is a direct input to the planet. It wants to show that water is a fundamental element required for this world to exist. This project has also been created for all people to be aware of the necessity of protecting what has been taken for granted for too long by the population, yet remains a luxury for others that are ignored.

By creating Mirages, I wish to draw attention to the many issues hitting our world, more particularly to one of the riches of our planet: Water, the most precious of life, and in doing so, humanity can continue its journey through the decades and centuries to come. May our rivers irrigate our lands, and that the specter of desolate landscapes can only be chimeras, so future generations, whatever and wherever they are, will not be deprived of it, abandoned to their sad, fatal ending.Yes, Mirages can become reality and help make this world an oasis, where nature will finally be able to take back its rights, and humanity, the course of its life; to continue to write history, and make this present time, which is ours, that does not become its epilogue.

Passionate about image for over 40 years, it was at the dawn of the new millennium that I decided to create my own business. As a multi-faceted photographer, I specialize in the printing of art, a field of which I mastered the different aspects and, in particular, that of colorimetry.During 2020, Serge Grad presented the Mirage project to me.  Presto! Here I am, in charge of the technical aspect, but above all of the production of the works on plexiglass at first. A process is set up … So I personally validate all the stages of manufacture, from the choice of materials, their cutting, printing for an optimal enhancement of the colors, the polished and perfectly transparent finish of the edge, the fixing at the back of a retractable aluminum frame for a visual rendering “as if levitating” on the wall, until the packaging of all the elements in a protective cocoon on a pallet, so that the work arrives without hindrance and in perfect condition at home, anywhere on the planet, ready to install!

Joshua grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and then moved to California to attend law school, where he graduated from Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
